Our Customer located in Northwest Phoenix, is looking for a Senior Desktop Application Packaging Specialist to assist with the Design, Engineering, Implementation, Customization, Rollout and On-going support of their Microsoft Application Packaging solution Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). This role is focused on Windows OS, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office Suite, Company’s Business Application(s), and other utility software packaging and deployments.
The right candidate will have experience in SCCM general knowledge and administration with 4+ years of experience configuring, implementing, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining SCCM Patching, SCCM Application and OS deployments and SCCM Reporting.
Your responsibilities will be:
3-5 years of Windows Desktop Engineering experience (preferably in a VMWare VDI environment).
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Software/Application Packaging utilizing Microsoft SCCM
Must be able to Troubleshoot SCCM Logs for efficient problem resolution.
Utilizing SCCM; must be able to deploy the release of new technologies as well as the design, installation, configuration, maintenance and system integration testing and performance of desktop/server operating systems, related utilities and hardware.
Installs, maintains and upgrades internal computer hardware and software systems used for designing and developing company products.
Controls SCCM User access and passwords.
Proposes and implements systems enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the desktop systems.
Monitors SCCM usage and performance.
Trains peer IT personnel on SCCM system usage.
Troubleshoots server, software and hardware issues.
Assists with recommending, scheduling and implementing system hardware and/or software upgrades or repairs.
Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products.
Supports Web access and electronic messaging services, and maintains a secure SCCM systems environment.
Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth.
Experience with application packaging and deployment for Windows
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Internet Explorer
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Office
Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
Experience working in an enterprise environment (4,000 or more PCs)
Performs other duties as required

Experience with VMware VDI View or other equivalent virtual desktop solutions
Experience with competing systems management solutions
Experience with application packaging tools such as AdminStudio or equivalent
Experience with automation scripting languages such as PowerShell, VBScript or equivalent
